Tuesday
Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry, and very warm, particularly in the south-west, highs 30 to 33C. Nearer 21 to 24C in northern Spain. Isolated showers around the Pyrenees and toward the Balearics. Risk of showers too for Italy. Low pressure centred around the Black Sea brings unsettled conditions to south-eastern Europe. Showers for Greece , and some persistent thundery rain for Turkey, Romania & Bulgaria.
Patchy rain affects northern France, but much of the country will be dry. Dry weather extends across central Europe. Temperatures 17 to 20C in Germany, some sunshine. Scattered showers for the Alps. Cool for eastern Europe, but dry for Poland & the Baltic states. High pressure resides across Scandinavia - dry with sunshine, and pleasantly warm, up to 21C in southern Sweden.


Wednesday
Dry and warm weather continues for Spain and Portugal, plus the western Mediterranean. Widespread thunderstorms are likely to break out across Italy. Showers for Greece, although areas around the Black Sea will have a brighter day.
High pressure centred over Scandinavia brings plenty of dry weather to central-northern Europe. Risk of a shower in north-west France, and perhaps also the western Alps. Generally warm, highs 20 to 25C in France, 19 to 22C for Germany and the Low Countries. Cooler in eastern Europe, but fairly warm across Scandinavia. 16 to 20C in southern Norway & Sweden, but nearer 13 to 15C in Finland.
