Dry, mild west & south, cooler east & central Europe

Friday
Cloudy in western Spain and Portugal, some rain here, dry and sunny toward Costa Brava. Mostly dry and sunny in Italy, foggy along the Po Valley, thunderstorms possible toward Sicily. Areas of showers through the west and central Mediterranean, some more organised thundery rain toward Sicily and the west coast of the Italian mainland. Fine weather for Greece and the eastern Meditteranean.
High pressure centred around Poland and the Baltic brings extensively dry, but frequently cloudy weather to central Europe and European Lowlands, feeling fairly cool here, some stubborn areas of fog. Mild or locally warm for France with sunshine south of Paris. Dry and sunny across the Alps and Carpathians, sunny also into southeastern Europe toward the Black Sea.
Southern Scandinavia dry and mild, but mostly cloudy. Northern areas windy, with rain and snow for northwest Norway.

Saturday
Dry and sunny for Portugal and Spain, thundery in southern France, Sardinia and Corsica. Dry and mix of sun and clouds for rest of Italy. Again fine sunny and warm weather for Greece and the eastern Meditteranean.
Cloudy and dry in France and the Low Countries, but high pressure centred over Eastern Europe strengthens, bringing often clear skies across Poland, Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Alps. Sunny and dry also for most of the Balkan Peninsula.
Low clouds over Denmark, southern Sweden and the Baltic Sea. Widely dry across Scandinavia, only in the far north of Norway very windy and some snow.
