Strong high pressure keeping conditions dry across much of Europe
Spain will see showers, some heavy and thundery, develop rather widely today but plenty of places also staying dry. Perhaps more cloud cover at times through the Balearics but mainly dry here. Dry for Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Much of Italy staying dry but a few developing heavier showers later. Mostly dry and feeling hot across Greece and Turkey.
Largely dry with sunny spells and a steady east to north-easterly flow across France and the Low Countries. Some patchy lighter rain for parts of Germany and Switzerland to start but then improving through the day. Showery rain expected across Poland, Austria, Slovakia and Croatia.
Dry conditions again for much of Scandinavia as it is mostly influenced by higher pressure, however, northern regions of Norway and Finland will see some rain as lower pressure sits in the Norwegian Sea. Outbreaks of rain, some heavy, still affecting the Baltic States. Dry and fine yet reltaively cool for Denmark.
Widespread thunderstorms developing across Spain and Portugal. These pushing out and will affect the Balearic islands at times. Mostly dry and fine for Italy and the surrounding islands. One or two showers for northeast Greece but largely dry for Turkey.
A dry and fair day for France but with a rather brisk easterly wind. Dry and settled across the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria too as well as down the Balkans. A few showers affecting southern parts of Poland but dry elsewhere here.
Some rain across central and northern Norway but mainly dry in the south. Mostly dry across Sweden and Finalnd. Feeling chilly in a northerly wind across Scandinavia. More settled through the Baltic Sattes. A dry and fair day for Denmark.
