Thursday An increasingly cloudy but mostly dry day for Portugal. Dry and sunny for Spain, apart from a few showers in far east. Isolated showers for southern France, elsewhere dry and sunny. A rather cloudy day for the British Isles with some drizzle over the west and mist/fog patches in east. Mostly cloudy morning for the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, Denmark but sunnier through the morning. A rather dry but mostly cloudy day for Norway and Sweden as well as Finland and the Baltic States. Rather cloudy for Belarus and Ukraine. Another dry day for the Central Europe with some low cloud, mist or fog in the morning, but sunnier later. Rather cloudy for Romania and the Balkans. Heavy and thundery showers for the Balearics, Sardinia, Corsica and Italy. Mostly dry and sunny for Greece, Turkiye and Cyprus.
Friday Much of Spain and Portugal will be dry with some sunshine in the south. Showery rain in the northwest becoming persistent. Areas of showers through the west and central Mediterranean, some more organised thundery rain toward Sicily and the west coast of the Italian mainland. Fine weather for Greece and the eastern Med. High pressure centred around Poland and the southern Baltic brings extensively dry weather to central and northern Europe. Mild or locally warm for France with sunshine. Cloudier toward the Low Countries. Feeling cool for Germany and Poland, some stubborn areas of fog and low cloud. Dry and sunnier across the Alps and into southeastern Europe toward the Black Sea. Southern Scandinavia is dry and mild, whilst northern areas are windy, with rain and snow for northwest Norway.
