Cold and wintry northern Europe, fair in most central and southern areas
Sunday A few showers for southwest Portugal otherwise dry and bright. Mostly dry for Spain with good spells of sunshine in north. Some rain for north France, elsewhere rather dry. Wintry showers for northern parts of the British Isles, and turning gradually colder. Some heavy rain for the Low Countries, north Germany and north Poland, with some wintry showers over the hills in Germany. Windy with rain for Denmark, snow for Cyprus, and on a lesser extent over north Sweden and north Finland. Some patchy rain for the Baltic States and Belarus, mostly dry conditions over Ukraine. A dry bur rather cloudy start for Central Europe, but cloud will thicken up through the day with outbreaks of rain, turning into snow over high ground in Switzerland, Austria and perhaps Czechia. Hungary and Slovakia remaining mostly dry. Increasingly cloudy for Romania and the northern Balkans. Another dry and bright day for the Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica. Some showers will arrive over northern Italy later in the day. Any remaining rain over southern Greece will soon clear. Heavy thunderstorms of southern Turkey and Cyprus.
Monday A few showers in southwest Portugal otherwise Iberia will be fine and dry. Staying fair across the Balearics with sunshine here. A few showers in Italy although mostly dry. Greece should be fair with sunny spells and it will be fair in the west of Turkey. Cloud and rain in the far north of France. fair for the rest of France with some sunny spells. Cloud and rain affecting the Low Countries and central Germany. Northern Germany and Poland will be brighter, although some showers in the north. Austria and Hungary having some cloud and spots of rain whilst Switzerland is fair. Denmark will have some heavy showers. More showers too in the Baltic States and Finland. Sweden should ne mostly dry and bright. Snow showers affecting much of western and northern Norway.
