Staying cold and unsettled in the west, further rain in central areas

Wednesday
Rain in northern Spain on Tuesday. Further rain affecting the Balearics too. Cool for much of the rest of Spain and Portugal. heavy periods of rain for Corsica and Sardinia as well as much of Italy. Greece and Turkey will be fine with good spells of sunshine.
Cool and showery in France. There will be some bright or sunny spells here and there, but the showers also merge to more persistent spells of rain. Feeling cool. Showers throughout the day in the Netherlands and western parts of Germany. Drier in eastern Germany and Poland with sunshine here, but cool. Austria and Hungary will be dry, cool and sunny. Showers or longer spells of rain in Switzerland.
Denmark will be dry and sunny. Fair in the far south of Sweden. Central and northern Sweden will be mild with periods of rain and showers. More rain to come across the Baltic States and Finland. Scattered showers in western Norway and staying chilly.

Thursday
Rain again in northern Spain on Thursday. Most of the rest of Spain and Portugal should be fair with some sunny spells. Scattered showers for Majorca and Menorca, as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have showers in central and northern areas, but the south should have a better day with some sunshine. Greece and Turkey remain warm, dry and sunny.
showers across France, most of these affecting northern areas where they could be heavy and prolonged. Further showers and outbreaks of rain in The Netherlands, these could be heavy at times. Some showers to in northern Germany, but more persistent rain from the east and south of Germany as well as Poland. A wet day for Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland where there may be some heavy periods of rain.
Denmark will have some showers in the south, but dry in the north. Sweden will be mostly dry with some decent spells of sunshine. The Baltic states will be mild and generally dry, although cloudier for Finland with showers or outbreaks of rain here. Norway will be cold with further snow showers in the north and west but dry and cloudy in the south.
