Still bitterly cold for many across northern and central Europe. Heavy rain, sleet and snow in Greece and Turkey.
Fair for Portugal and Spain with some patchy rain to the far northwest. Fair too for the Balearic Islands. Early showers clear east from Corsica and Sardinia while heavy outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow spread from north to south across Italy. Heavy rain, sleet and snow spreads into the Balkans and Greece as well as into western and northern parts of Turkey.
Dry and fine for much of France. Cloudier with patchy precipitation to the far northwest. A dry and bright day for the Low Countries and Germany. Staying dry across Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary with good spells of brightness here. A more mixed day for Poland and Slovakia with sunny spells and wintry showers.
Cold and fine for much of Scandinavia once again on Saturday. Snow showers filter in to northwestern parts of Norway, some of which will filter across central Sweden and, later, into southern Finland and the Baltic States. Elsewhere it stays mostly dry, bright and cold.
Another fair day for Portugal and Spain although cloudier skies will increase in the northwest. Some scattered showers todaya cross the Balearic Islands. Blustery showers affecting much of central and southern Italy. Drier further north. Heavy rain, sleet and snow clearing to the south of the Balkans with blustery showers affecting this region on Sunday too. The heaviest of rain, sleet and snow across Greece will be in the morning and will ease later. Rain, sleet and snow turning heavier across north and west Turkey through the day.
Dry and fine although still cold for Germany, the Low Countries, Germany as well as the Alpine countries as high pressure sits overtop. Windier conditions towards coasts of France and The Netherlands, but generally slack winds elsewhere. Dry too for the Czech Republic, however, some snow showers affecting east Poland.
Again largely settled across Scandinavia although snow will push into northern Norway and the far north of Finland. Snow showers will push down the eastern region of the Baltic States but largely dry further west here. Dry for Denmark too but turning increasingly windy towards the west.
