Showers in the Mediterranean
A cold day across Europe. Cold across Spain and apart from a few showers long the north coast, it's a dry day. Dry as well for Portugal with sunny spells. Mainly dry across Italy and the Adriatic Region. Rain clears Greece to afternoon showers. A number of showers to affect the far west of Turkey with much of the country staying dry. Outbreaks of moderate to heavy snow may affect northern Russia, Belarus, western parts of the Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Austria. Plenty of heavy showers are forecast from Sardinia eastward to near Crete. Showers to fall across The Low Countries and into northern Germany while snow affects the far south. Snow showers are likely across the Baltic States. Dry, sunny and cold across Norway and Sweden with snow flurries across Finland. Very windy from southern France south to the Balearics and eastward to the Adriatic Sea.
It continues cold with sub zero temperatures across eastern Europe and much of Scandinavia. Lots of dry, sunny weather is expected across Portugal, Spain, France, the Balearics and into Italy. Fine and dry as well across England, Belgium and The Netherlands. More unsettled across central and eastern parts of Europe. More cloudy with rain for Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. The rain may be mixed with snow across parts of Austria and the Czech Republic. Cold across the Adriatic Region with snow flurries. Lots of heavy showers are expected from Sardinia eastward to Crete. A few wintry showers may affect parts of Greece with rain and heavy showers for Turkey. An area of moderate to heavy snow will affect Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine with patchy snow for Romania. Most of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark looks dry but very cold. Very windy across the Adriatic Sea and the eastern Mediterranean.
