Thundery rain Spain and Portugal

Friday
Heavy, thundery showers Portugal, scattered bursts of rain for south and eastern Spain too, but drier in the north. Thundery showers too in the Balearics. Italy and Greece stay fine and dry with lots of sunshine. Remaining dry and fine in Turkey with more sunshine.
Fog patches again in central and northern France, but overall dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some drizzle in the Low Countries, northern Germany and Poland. Drier in southern Poland and Hungary as well as southern Germany. Austria and Switzerland will be brighter and dry with sunny spells.
Windy and chilly across Scandinavia. Sunny spells for Denmark. Wintry showers in Sweden and the Baltic States. Some rain and snow for southern Finland, drier in north. Frequent, heavy snow showers in western and northern Norway.

Saturday
High pressure extends over northwestern Europe bringing dry weather to many places. A risk of some further thundery showers in eastern Spain and particularly over the Balearics. Dry and sunny for Italy, Greece and Turkey. Some thundery showers for Cyprus.
A weakening front slipping through central-eastern Europe brings patchy rain to Czechia, Slovakia and southern Poland. Chilly northerly air from northern Germany into the Baltic region. Milder further south and west over central Europe.
Dry for France and the Low Countries. Fine with light winds for Denmark, southern Norway and Sweden. Windy further north across Scandinavia. Showery for northwest Norway. Scattered showers into the Baltic states.
