A windy day with severe gales in the east and occasional heavy showers, especially along coasts. These may turn wintry, locally even at lower levels over Scotland. A longer spell of rain is expected for eastern and southeastern England. Feeling cold in the wind, with highs of 4°C in the north and 7°C in the south. Frost is likely inland overnight.

Frequent blustery showers in the north and east, with a longer spell of rain over the southeast. Further west drier with a few showers, more frequent over the Irish Sea. Windy with minimum temperatures at 4C in north and 7C in south.
