Unsettled central and eastern Europe, cold and showery here

Thursday
Showers over northern Spain today but fine for much of the rest of Spain and Portugal. Cool and showers in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy showers and rain affecting central and northern Italy. Some showers for the west of Greece although Turkey should be dry with plenty of sunshine.
France will have a mix of sunshine and showers, mostly in central and northern areas. Further showers in the Low Countries with the western half of Germany seeing the showers too. More eastern areas of Germany should be dry and bright. Poland wil have rain in central areas. Fair for Hungary, but Austria and Switzerland will have some heavy rain.
Patchy rain in Denmark. Fair for Sweden. The Baltic States will have a few showers whilst Finland will be dry and sunny. Unsettled in Norway with heavy periods of rain at times and very windy in the west.

Friday
Fair for Portugal and Spain, lots of sunshine here and windy too. Scattered showers in the Baltic States. Scattered showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Rain and strong winds for Italy. Showers again in western Greece but fine in the east. Turkey will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Fair for France with sunshine. Fair too in the Low Countries although a few showers here. Scattered showers for the east of Germany but rain in the far east. Poland stays fair in the east but heavy rain to the west. Heavy rain too in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Denmark will be fair with sunshine. Cloud and periods of rain in the Baltic States. Cloud and patchy rain in Finland. Fair across Sweden, lots of sunshine. Rain and showers in western areas of Norway but fair in the south.
