Fine but breezy north-central Europe
Monday Fair for Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. Fair too in the Balearics with more sunshine. Showers in Italy, a few of them heavy in central and southern areas. Greece will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Fair for much of Turkey although scattered showers here and there. Fair for France and breezy with lots of sunshine. Scattered showers and some cloud in the Low Countries. Heavy bursts of rain in southern Germany and windy here. The wind blowing too in Poland with sunshine in the north but rain in the south. Wet in Hungary and Austria with snow over the Alps. Cloudy with some patchy rain in Denmark. Windy and fair for the Baltic States. Sunny in Finland as well as much of Sweden. Cloud and some showery outbreaks of rain in western Sweden and Norway.
Tuesday Staying fine and warm for Spain and Portugal, very warm in the southwest. Small risk of a shower for the Balearics. Low pressure over the central Mediterranean brings heavy rain and thundery downpours to Italy and the Adriatic coasts, possibly western Greece. Local showers for the Greek Islands, but mostly dry for Turkey. Breezy easterly winds for north and central Europe, but largely dry for France, the Low Countries and northern Germany. Areas of rain for southern Germany and the Alps, a little patchy rain reaching eastern France. Some patchy rain or showers extends through Czechia, Slovakia and northern Romania. Fine for Poland. High pressure over Scandinavia brings fine weather for Denmark, southern Norway and Sweden. Showery rain in northern Norway with fresher westerly breezes here. An odd shower for Finland.
