High pressure rebuilds across Britain and Ireland with dry weather overall. A weakening cold front clears into the Low Countries which may bring local showers in southeast England in the morning. Clearer conditions than recently with more sunshine and better visibility. Fairly cloudy near coasts in southeast England, also cloudy in northwest Scotland. Cool northerly breezes in eastern England, otherwise light winds. Highs 7 to 11C, local 13C southwest.


Monday night
Clear skies for most places into the evening and night will allow temperatures to fall away to give slight frost in many areas overnight. Northeasterly breezes drag some cloud across East Anglia and the southeast which may bring local showers near to the east coast. Some fog patches forming in valleys and low-lying districts, most likely central and western areas. Lows 2 to 4C in towns, locally dipping to freezing rurally, but nearer 8C near southeast coasts.


Tuesday
High pressure stays across all of Britain and Ireland. Mostly dry conditions except for eastern coast of England, where chance of light showers. Some fog over Ireland, as well as parts of western England and Scotland, slow to clear. Eastern England under the deck of low clouds and windy, elsewhere fair amounts of sunshine and light northeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures 8 to 10C, locally 12C Cornwall, Ireland and eastern Scotland.


Wednesday
High pressure in charge. A widely dry day with some sunshine for western areas of England and Wales. Patchy fog in the morning. Cloudy in central and eastern counties, risk of some showers near to east and southeastern coasts of England. Cloudy in Ireland and western Scotland. Brighter eastern Scotland. Highs near 10C for many, locally milder 12 to 14C in eastern Scotland & northeast England.
