Less cold next week with mixed weather

A cold weekend and start of the new week, but then a brief hit of milder air moves in on Tuesday. A fluctuating weather pattern through the week with some windy and wet days but also drier periods too. Not overly cold.

A milder day on Tuesday and comparatively so to Monday. Largely cloudy with rain progressively encroaching in on the north and west with drizzle over western coasts and hills throughout. A breezy day too. Highs at 8 to 12C.

 
 
 

Wednesday 1/12/21
Rain clearing southern areas first thing on Wednesday. Another windy day and feeling cooler with showers affecting northern and western coasts and hills. Largely dry with bright spells elsewhere. Highs at 5 to 9C.

Thursday 2/12/21
A frosty start in Scotland and northern England. Thursday will be a chilly day but less windy as there is a brief ridge over the country. Largely dry and sunny conditions but cloud and rain moves in to the far west later. Highs at 4 to 7C.

Friday 3/12/21
A cloudy and progressively wet day on Friday with spells of rain, turning heavy for many later. Windy in the south and west too. Highs at 6 to 9C.

Saturday 4/12/21
Largely dry with sunny spells, these best in the west as a ridge attempts to build here. Eastern coasts perhaps seeing persistent showers with a wind chill factored in as winds stay reasonably brisk. Highs at 5 to 11C.

Sunday 5/12/21
A largely dry day with sunny spells. Cloud will soon build in across Scotland and Northern Ireland as a front pushes rain in to western regions here later. Highs at 6 to 10C.
