Areas of thicker fog in the south and east. Clearer toward the northwest of hills in north Wales, Cumbria and more widely northern Scotland. Temperatures up to 10C in the north and up to 13C in the south, plus some warm spots locally to the north of high ground in Wales and Scotland.

Elsewhere often misty with fog especially near rivers and lakes. Overnight minimum temperatures at 4C in Scotland, 4-7C in England to 13C southwestern parts of England and Ireland.
