Showers Greece and Turkey, rain and wind in Scandinavia, mainly dry western Mediterranean

Tuesday
Fine with plenty of sunshine across most of Spain and Portugal, a few showers along the northern coast. The western Mediterranean also fine, but quite breezy for southern France. Showery in southern Italy, drier toward the north. Heavy rain and thunderstorms for mainland Greece. Drier over the Greek islands and Turkey.
Bright and breezy for much of France and the Low Countries, a few showers near the coast, then a spell of more persistent rain later in the day coming in from the northwest. Showery rain for a time in southern Germany and the Alps, sunny spells for northern Germany, then rain later. Showers move across Poland, behind a band of heavier rain passing eastwards over eastern Europe.
Brisk winds for Denmark with rain moving in from the west. Low pressure brings rain to Norway and Sweden, moving northwards, but further heavy rain moves in from the southwest later. A front advances east over the Baltic with strong southerly winds here.

Wednesday
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in northern Spain. Fair elsewhere with sunny spells across Iberia. Scattered showers in the Balearics. A few showers in northern Italy, but mostly fair with sunny spells. Scattered showers for Greece. Heavier showers in western Turkey but fair in the east.
Rain in southern France, some of it heavy. Fair for the northern half of France. Heavy showers in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fine for the rest of Germany and Poland, good spells of sunshine. Fair too in Hungary. Heavy rain for Austria and Switzerland.
Further heavy showers in Denmark. Some showers too in the Baltic States and Finland. Sunny spells and mostly dry for Sweden. Heavy showers and strong winds in western areas of Norway, although northern Norway should be drier and brighter.
