Monday 16/09/2024 High pressure over the southern parts will give a mostly dry but rather cloudy day, best of any sunshine over southern coasts. Further north over Scotland, and northern parts of Ireland increasingly cloudy along with freshening winds. Maximum temperatures at 16C in north and 20C in south.
Tuesday 17/09/2024 A few morning showers, otherwise high pressure will extend over the British Isles offering a mostly dry and bright day with sunny spells, the best of these over Ireland, western Scotland, Wales and western England. Some low cloud or sea fog along the east coast. Light winds but fresh in southeast. Tops of 17C in north and 20C in south.
Wednesday 18/09/2024 Another mostly dry and bright day with best of the sunshine over Ireland, western Scotland, Wales and southwest England. Further east clouds, with some cloud persisting over the eastern coastal areas throughout the day. Breezy with temperatures rising to around 16-17C over the north, but 23C over the south. A cool feeling over the east coast.
Thursday 19/09/2024 Bright and breezy over the southeast with a few showers. Elsewhere a mostly dry but rather cloudy day. Best of the sunshine over Ireland and southern England. Tops of 16C in north and 23C in south.
Friday 20/09/2024 A mostly dry but still rather cloudy day, with the best of the sunshine over the south. Breezy with tops of 15C in north and 21C in south.
Saturday 21/09/2024 High pressure persists with plenty of sunny spells over the central and southern parts. Tops of 16C in north and 22C in south.
