Cold, mostly dry
Windy in south

Cold for all, windy in the south, dry for many

Good morning,

Broken cloud across eastern parts of England today, perhaps with a few spots of rain over the hills. Better sunshine across southern parts of England and the south and west of Wasles. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland where there will also be a few showers. A fair amount of cloud over the rest of Ireland too. Feeling cold for all, especially in the strong northeast wind in the far south of England.

Little changes this afternoon although the winds in the far south should be easing. For most places there will be broken cloud and sunny spells, and it should be dry. Always that shower ris in the far north and east of Scotland as well as eastern England. Tonight may be frosty in the far south. Cloudier skies further north, further spots os rain in northern and western Scotland, northern Wales and western Ireland.
