Chillier for all
Showery rain affecting the far south of England first thing. Showers expected at times down coasts as well as across the north of Scotland. Largely dry and sunny elsewhere.
Perhaps more cloud cover across northern regions in the afternoon but still a fair amount of sunshine about. Showers merging into longer spells of rain across the far north of Scotland with showers still affecting coasts down the UK. A chillier day for all and with a brisk wind towards the east will make conditions feel particularly chilly.
Showers across northern and western Scotland continue overnight, these merging into longer spells of rain across the northwest Highlands into the Cairngorms later. Showers also continue down some western coasts. Mainly dry with clear skies elsewhere.
