Sunday Night Becoming wet tonight in England and Wales as an area of rain tracks eastwards. The rain could be heavy in Wales, the Midlands and southern England for a time. Rain and showers in northern and western Scotland too, some of it heavy here. Drier for other areas. A frost in parts of northern England and central Scotland at 0C, but 4 to 8C for most.
Monday Rain in central and eastern England at first on Monday morning as a small area of low pressure passes east. Some rain too in northwest Scotland where it will be close to a weak front. Elsewhere it should be dry with cloud breaking and some sunny spells developing. The best of the sunshine in northern England and then most places bright and dry with sunny spells for the afternoon. Still some cloud and patchy rain in northern Scotland. Highs at a cool 8 to 11C for most, 17C in southwest England.
Tuesday High pressure is to the east of the British Isles on Tuesday with low pressure to the west. A southeast flow will be increasing and this is going to be bringing rain through Ireland in the afternoon, Most other areas will be dry and bright, the best sunshine in the east, However, cloud increases from the south and west as the day progresses with rain affecting southwest England later. Highs near 12 to 14C, but to 17C in the far south.
