Cloudy with rain in northwest.

Most parts will see a mostly dry morning with sunny spells, with only a scattering of showers over northern Scotland. Thickening cloud over the northwest along with strengthening winds. Outbreaks of rain over northwest Ireland by late morning, this gradually moving northeast over western Scotland. Elsewhere remaining mostly dry with best of the sunshine over the southeast. Strong winds in northwest. Tops of 14C in north and 16C in south.

A rather cloudy evening and night away from the southeast. Outbreaks of rain over Scotland and western Ireland, perhaps some light rain over northwest England too. Rain will get heavy and more persistent over the northwest overnight. Minimum temperatures at 10-12C over the north and west under the cloudy skies, but down to 5C over the southeast.
