Thursday
Dry with sunny spells over much of England and eastern Wales on Thursday morning. A band of cloud and showery periods of rain passing south through Scotland and Ireland, heading into northwest England. Some low cloud and drizzle over western coasts. Brighter with showers in northern Scotland. This afternoon brings cloud and outbreaks of patchy rain through northern England and Wales. Muggy with sunshine and dry weather in central and southern areas. Turning cooler in Scotland and Ireland with some showers in the west. Tops at 25C in southern England, but 13C in northern Scotland.


Thursday Night
Coud and a few spots of rain in the far south of England. Coler weather with clearer skies following through much of England, Wales and Ireland. Further clear skies in Scotland. A few showers in northern and western Scotland. A touch of ground frost in central Scotland by Friday morning with lows of 3C, but nearer 10C in southern England.
 


Friday
High pressure across Ireland and the UK on Friday. There will be broken cloud and some sunny spells, the best sunshine in southern England. Breezy in northern Scotland with a few showers here. Not so warm in the south with temperatures at 21C, closer to 12C in northern Scotland, 15C in Ireland.
 


Saturday
High pressure remains in Ireland, England and Wales. Sunny spells after the clearance of mist and fog patches. Warm in the afternoon. Increased cloud in Scotland with the threat of some rain and drizzle to the north and west of Scotland. Gales in northern Scotland. Temperatures at 24C in southern England, 16C in northern Scotland and feeling muggy.
