Some mixed conditions but the odd dry day too. Frosty starts and cooling temperatures.
Some mixed conditions expected although southern and eastern areas will see a good deal of dry weather. A general cooling trend in the temperatures and some overnight frosts forecast for later this week.

A cloudy and wet day for southeast England as Tuesday's front is slow to clear here. A weak trough to the north of the UK brings showers and patchy rain to northwestern parts of Ireland as well as northwestern and northern parts of Scotland. Elsewhere it's a largely dry day with good spells of sunshine. High temperatures at 6 to 11C.
A frosty start for many on Thursday as a ridge of high pressure builds. Some mist and fog patches likely too which may be slow to clear. A largely dry and fine day across the UK and Ireland with isolated showers to the northwest. Cloud builds here and winds strengthen later as low pressure approaches from the Atlantic. Highs of 5 to 10C.
A cold and frosty start again for many. High pressure holds on across eastern areas of the UK while a front moves in over western Ireland and west Scotland bringing cloud and rain here. Frost, mist and fog patches are likely first thing for some areas further east. Some patchy rain may develop over England and Wales associated with a weak trough here. Highs around 5 to 10C.
High pressure gets squeezed southeast as a front brings rain and cloud to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales as well as northern and western areas of England. Turning progressively cloudy across central and parts of southern England with the best of the sun to the southeast. Highs ranging from 4 to 11C.
A cloudy day for many as Saturday's front continues to move east over the UK. Brighter conditions follow for Ireland, Northern Ireland and eventually western areas of England, Wales and Scotland. Highs of 4 to 10C.
Rain slow to clear the southeast corner but it will and there is a brief respite before rain arrives here again later. Meanwhile, rain spreads across Ireland and into Wales before reaching England in the afternoon. Drier further north. Highs of 4 to 10C.
