A bright and dry day on Friday across central, eastern and southern areas of the country. A front is going to be bringing cloud and rain into Scotland and Ireland. Rather murky on western coasts and hills too. Highs will be at 7C in Ireland, 12C in central and eastern parts of England.
High pressure remains south of the country on Saturday. A southwest flow pushes fronts through Ireland and into western Scotland bringing drizzle here. There could be some drizzle in west Wales and western England too. More eastern and southern areas should be drier and brighter. Highs around 14C in the southeast, 7C in Scorland, 9C in Ireland.
Low pressure stays west of Scotland on Sunday. A south to southwest flow affects all of the country. A front brings some cloud and outbreaks of showery rain through Ireland and into western Scotland. Most other areas should be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Fronts edging slowly east on Monday. These bring a fair amount of cloud with them and some patchy outbreaks of rain. Most rain in western Scotland and western Ireland. Brighter spells developing for some. Highs near 8 to 11C.
A ridge of high pressure may build through the country on Tuesday. This allows for some morning mist and fog patches and perhaps an early frost. Most places should be fine once the mist and fog patches have clearer. Highs at 5 to 9C.
High pressure may stay over the south on Wednesday. This brings a further risk of mist and fog patches, these lifting to leave dry conditions with sunny spells. Cloud and a breeze affecting western Ireland and western Scotland with outbreaks of rain here. Highs around 6C in south south where any fog lingers, more generally 8 to 10C.
