Morning Call - December 02, 2024
Many places wet
Widespread frost overnight

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 2nd December 2024

Light showers during the day give way to a calm, cold night

Good morning,

Many places will see wet weather as a band of showers treads southward through England. Sun will break through the clouds behind this band of rain, likely best in southern Scotland and northern England. North and east Scotland will see light but persistent sleet and show showers. A cool day in most places with temperatures between 4 and 6C, though up to 9C along the southern coast.

Incoming high pressure overnight will calm winds and allow sufficient cooling to produce widespread frosts. Fog patches are likely as well which may linger into the morning in areas protected from winds. Temperatures near or just below freezing.

Have a nice day!
-Dan
