Light rain south
Blustery showers northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 22nd November 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A weak front brings patchy light rain, drizzle and cloud to southern parts of the UK and Ireland today. Further north it will be brighter but breezy with frequent blustery showers to the west. Some of these may be rather lively and they will readily turn wintry over higher ground in Scotland.

Good Morning,

It's a cloudy start to the day over southern parts of England and Wales with patchy outbreaks of rain here. Elsewhere it's brighter and breezy with blustery showers to the west. Staying drier over central and eastern parts of Ireland, Scotland and northern England.

Staying rather cloudy over southern Ireland, Wales and southern England with further outbreaks of light patchy rain for Wales and the far souther of England. Staying bright for the northern half of the island of Ireland, for Scotland and the north of England though blustery showers will persist for western areas. These likely to be wintry over higher ground and there may some some hail and lightning at times.

Rain and showers tend to fade into Sunday evening. Thicker cloud remains over southern parts of the UK with clearer skies elsewhere.

Have a good day!

Claire
