Scattered sleet showers over the eastern counties of England and Scotland through the morning and the afternoon. Elsewhere a dry day with bright or sunny spells, the best over western Ireland and western Scotland. Breezy with tops of 4C in north and 7C in south.

A few showers remaining over England and Wales, otherwise it will be a dry evening with clear spells and with frost developing overnight over Scotland and Ireland.

 
 
 


Sunday
Perhaps a few showers for the far southeast in the morning, otherwise it will be a dry but rather cloudy and breezy day. A scattering of showers will develop over the east coast later. Best of any sunshine over far north Scotland. Maximums of 4C in north but 8C in south. Overnight frost over Scotland.
 


Monday
A rather cloudy, breezy but dry day with the best of the brightness over northwest Scotland. Allow for some showers over the southern parts of England, turning to sleet in places. Afternoon temperatures at 5C in north and 7C in south. Patchy frost overnight over Scotland.
