Rain and drizzle over the far west of Cornwall, western Wales and northwest England. This rain edges very slowly eastwards through the afternoon to affect much ofWales, northwest and southwest England. Staying dry and mostly cloudy in the rest of England, breezy here and with some drizzle at times over southern coasts. A few brighter spells in eastern Scotland as well as in central England. Some cloud in southeast England at first on Thursday morning as a weak front clears, taking a few spits of rain and drizzle with it. Most other areas are going to be enjoying a brighter morning. There will be some good spells of sunshine, although an isolated shower here and there. More frequent showers may occur in central western Scotland as well as western Ireland. Breezy in Scotland. Temperatures will be around 8 to 12C.
An area of high pressure is building over southern parts of the country through Friday. This should be bringing some fair conditions with some good spells of sunshine developing. The best of the sunshine in central and eastern areas. More cloud in western Scotland and Ireland, still some sunny spells in central Ireland. A risk of some drizzle in the far west of Ireland and western Scotland. Little change through the afternoon with broken cloud in the west, sunshine to the east. Highs at 9 to 12C.
