Saturday 15/08/20
A rather cloudy day across much of central parts of England as well as Ireland with showery outbreaks of rain in places and possible longer spells of rain for a time across central eastern England. Mainly dry conditions and sunny spells expected across Scotland and elsewhere over England and Wales albeit Wales could see thicker cloud and a small risk of a few showers in places. Cooler temperatures in the south and southeast but feeling warm across most places. Highs range from 18C to 26C.

Sunday 16/08/20
A largely dry start for many although northern England will see cloudy skies and spells of rain and in some places rain turning heavy for a time. Meanwhile, low pressure deepens over England which will bring showers initially to central and southern regions as well as Wales before turning into longer spells of rain in places later on. Southern Ireland too is likely to see some rain, currently mainly through the afternoon. Northern Ireland and western Scotland will also see showers develop later. Drier elsewhere. Highs range from 17C to 27C.

Monday 17/08/20
Monday sees unsettled weather continue across England and Wales with showers or longer spells of rain about. Drier and sunnier across Scotland to start with although western, southern and central parts will see showers develop in the afternoon, some heavy over the higher ground. Largely dry through Ireland and Northern Ireland although eastern regions will see some outbreaks of rain in the morning before largely clearing to just a few scattered showers. Highs range from 18C to 26C.

Tuesday 18/08/20
There is some uncertainty going forward from Tuesday due to model differences, however, the trend still stands consistent that the UK and Ireland should turn more unsettled as a whole with low pressure moving in. A brisk westerly wind is likely by Tuesday with spells of rain at times but also drier periods about too. The northern half of the country could fair worse than southern areas where drier conditions may be more prevalent. A cooler feeling day for all with high temperatures ranging from 16 to 23C.

Wednesday 19/08/20
Low pressure sticks around midweek with more unsettled conditions expected, some heavy and proloinged spells of rain too in places. Winds still brisk and could strengthen particularly along some coasts. High temperatures range from 15 to 23C.

Thursday 20/08/20
Still unsettled on Thursday as low pressure is the dominant weather feature over the British Isles. Expect spells of rain, hevay at times for some. Brisk west to southwesterly winds more so in the west. High temperatures range from 15 to 22C.
