A breezy morning with lots of cloud. One or two spots of drizzle over high ground in central and eastern areas as well as western Scotland and western Ireland. As the morning progresses a few breaks may appear in the cloud leading to some brighter spells. The afternoon looks bright too in the south and east with sunny spells. Rain in northern and western Scotland where winds could be to gale force. Sunny spells in eastern Scotland. A mild day at 11 to 13C.


Sunday Night
Rain in central and northern Scotland tonight. The rain heavy over western parts of Scotland with strong winds too. Drier in southern Scotland and over most of the rest of the UK and Ireland. Clearer spells with well broken cloud. A few showers over western hills of Wales and Ireland. Lows at 6 to 9C.
 


Monday
A front through Scotland brings rain across central and northern areas. Some drizzle over western parts of Wales and southwest England. Lots of cloud for England and Wales but some sunshine in Ireland. This afternoon sees little change with more cloud in England and much of Wales. Brighter in northwest England and Ireland though. Further rain across central, northern and western Scotland with a risk of flooding in the west. Highs at 9 to 12C.


Tuesday
Cloudy to start Tuesday for all areas. Rain and drizzle in the north and west with the most persistent rain in Ireland. This afternoon sees more rain and drizzle in western areas of England, Wales and Scotland with fog shrouding hills. Tending to be drier in eastern Scotland and eastern England, an odd spot of drizzle in the wind. Highs at 9 to 12C.
