A cloudy day for most with outbreaks of rain, this turning to snow over southern and central Scotland, perhaps even more south into northern England. Heavy rain for Ireland, but more light and patchy for southern England. Feeling colder. Daytime highs of 3°C in the north and 9°C in the south, with widespread frost and icy stretches developing overnight.

Windy with heavy rain and sleet/snow over high ground for the north, clearing through the morning. Heavy, blustery showers will dominate then in the north and northwest, wintry even at low levels. Expect wintry showers over eastern and western coastal areas too. Afternoon highs of 2°C in north and 6C in south, with widespread frost and icy patches forming during the evening.

Unsettled weather continues, with heavy, blustery showers, especially around coastal areas, wintry at low levels. Central and southern England will remain drier with a few showers. Strong winds, particularly in the north and west, with highs of 2-3°C. A cold day across the board.


 

Thursday 21/11/2024
Similar conditions persist, with blustery, wintry showers focused in the north and coastal areas. Inland regions will stay drier but cold. Widespread frost overnight, and highs ranging from 3-5°C.

Frequent blustery showers in northwest, these wintry even down to very low levels. Drier elsewhere with only a few showers. Widespread frost overnight. Tops of 2C in north and 4C in south.



 
 
 

Saturday 23/11/2024
Scattered wintry showers, more frequent over the north and the coastal areas but later in the day high pressure gradually spreads in from the west offering more dry conditions over Ireland. Similar temperatures.
