Blustery showers will sweep southwards, easing by evening and mostly affecting coastal areas. North Scotland may see wintry showers, even at low levels, with a chance of snow over northern Irish hills. A longer spell of rain over Ireland later in the day, spreading over England and Wales overnight into Monday. A cold and windy day, with gales in the northeast and highs of 6°C in the north, 10°C in the south. Overnight, widespread frost and icy patches are likely, especially in the north.

The north and east will see heavy, blustery showers, wintry in northern Scotland. Elsewhere some early rain soon clearing, but more rain arrives from the west in the afternoon spreading east and perhaps turning to sleet or snow over high ground. Feeling colder.. Daytime highs of 4°C in the north and 7°C in the south, with widespread frost and icy stretches developing overnight.

Windy with heavy rain and sleet/snow over high ground for the east, clearing through the morning. Heavy, blustery showers will dominate in the north and northwest, wintry even at low levels. Expect highs of 2-4°C, with widespread frost and icy patches forming during the evening.


 

Wednesday 20/11/2024
Unsettled weather continues, with heavy, blustery showers, especially around coastal areas, wintry at low levels. Central and southern England will remain drier. Strong winds, particularly in the north and west, with highs of 2-3°C. A cold day across the board.


 

Thursday 21/11/2024
Similar conditions persist, with blustery, wintry showers focused in the north and coastal areas. Inland regions will stay drier but cold. Widespread frost overnight, and highs ranging from 3-5°C.

Frequent blustery showers in northwest, these wintry even down to very low levels. Drier elsewhere with only a few showers. Widespread frost overnight.
