Tending to be a little milder next week with some drizzle and rain in the north and west, drier in the east and south.

Sunday 11/04/21
Low pressure over the Low Countries could bring further rain to East Anglia and southeast England early on Sunday. Some cloud through the Midlands and southern England, a risk of a few showers here. These showers could also affect eastern England. Brighter in Scotland, northwest England, Wales and Ireland and mostly dry too though a front arrives from the Atlantic later bringing rain, sleet and hill snow to northwest Scotland and Ireland. Another cold day with a widespread morning frost in the north and west. Daytime temperatures at 5 to 9C.

Monday 12/04/21
High pressure to the southwest on Monday brings broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells for many parts of England, Wales and southern Ireland. Low pressure to the northwest however brings thicker cloud across much of Scotland and Ireland with some outbreaks of rain here. Some showers, light rain or drizzle may affect northwestern parts of England and Wales at times. Highs at 4 to 10C.

Tuesday 13/04/21
High pressure stays to the south of the country through Tuesday. This brings a dry day with broken cloud to much of England and Wales. Drizzle and patchy rain in northwest England and for western coasts of Wales. More persistent rain in western Scotland and western Ireland. Drier in eastern Ireland and eastern Scotland. Highs at 7 to 12C.

Wednesday 14/04/21
Low pressure northwest of Scotland on Wednesday. Cloud and periods of rain in Scotland and Ireland as well as northwest England and Wales. Eastern and southern areas are probably going to be drier with broken cloud and a few bright spells. Highs at 13C in southeast England, 9C in northern Scotland and Ireland.

Thursday 15/04/21
Confidence is low in Thursday's forecast at the moment. A ridge of high pressure may bring dry conditions through much of England and Wales as well as Ireland with broken cloud and a few bright spells. Cloud and rain in western Scotland and the far north and west of Ireland. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Friday 16/04/21
Confidence in the forecast remains low into Friday with models showing a range of solutions. One solution is that lower pressure moves into southern parts of the UK bringing a rather mixed day to the British Isles with patchy outbreaks of rain and some spells of sunshine. Highs range from 8C to 16C.
