Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 2nd November 2024 Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson
Mostly light winds
Good morning,
Dry weather prevails this weekend as high pressure stays in charge.
A lot of cloud will be in the forecast on Saturday, plus some morning fog patches in low-lying areas. Southwesterly winds bring a little drizzle or light rain into northwest Scotland. An easterly breeze near the south coast of England will feel fresh here. Best chance for sunny breaks will be toward the northeast.
By Sunday, drier air coming in from the continent offers more chance to break up the cloud, although some misty areas will remain.
Today's top temperatures will reach 12 to 14C, feeling pleasant where any sun does break through.
Have a great day. Garry
