A mixed week with rain and showers, cool especially in the north
A mixed week ahead with rain and showers, most of the rain affecting more northern areas. Low pressure takes control for a time into the middle stages of next week and that brings heavier showers and stronger winds as well as cooler weather. Hints of pressure rising again later in the week which will allow the weather to settle down.
