Monday
Plenty of sunshine across the far south of England and Wales on Monday morning. Increasing cloud across central and northern areas of England, Wales and Ireland as well as much of southern Scotland. It will be dry overall, although a few spots of drizzle can't be ruled out over northern hills. A few showers in western Scotland and northwest Ireland, but brighter in central, north and eastern Scotland, fresher here too. Litle change this afternoon with most of England, Wales and Ireland dry with a fair amount of cloud. Brighter in much of central and eastern Scotland, a scattering of showers in western Scotland. Highs at 27C in southern England, a much fresher 18C in Ireland, 17C in northern England, 17C in eastern Scotland, 14C in the west of Scotland.


Monday Night
Scattered showers could affect parts of the Midlands, southeast England and East Anglia this evening, but these fade. Plenty of cloud around for most England and Wales, although this breaking. Some broken cloud in Scotland and Ireland too, a few showers in the far northwest of Scotland. Lows near 16C in southeast England, but a much fresher 5C in central Scotland and 7 to 9C for most other places.


Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure builds over most of the UK on Tuesday. Broken cloud in the morning, but some sunny periods too. The sunshine become stronger during the day, the best of it in eastern areas. Some cloud could trouble the far south of England at first, but this breaks quickly in the morning. A front approaching northwest Scotland and western Ireland will be bringing rain here, this turning more persistent by the evening. Staying fair elsewhere with more sunny spells. Highs at 25C in southern England, 22C in Ireland, 15C in northern Scotland.


Wednesday
A front is going to be through Scotland and eastern Ireland on Wednesday bringing cloud and some patchy rain here. Brighter, fresher weather follows into western Ireland and northwest Scotland during the day. Sunny spells and dry for most of England and Wales, the best sunshine in the east. Feeling increasingly muggy in England and Wales too as cloud increases in the west and south. An area of thundery rain will be reaching southern England and southern Wales in the evening, spreading north overnight. Highs could reach 30C in southeast England, widely 24 to 27C, but a much fresher 16 to 18C in Scotland, Ireland, northwest England and west Wales.
