Morning Call - November 17, 2019
Bright & dry north & west
Further rain northeast England

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 17th November 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Increasingly dry and bright conditions spread across northern and western parts of the UK and Ireland on Sunday. Northeastern England and southeastern Scotland see further outbreaks of rain which may be heavy at times. This easing through the day.

Good morning,

Outbreaks of rain continue over northeast England and southeast Scotland this morning while scattered showers are possible over the rest of England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Early mist and fog patches over southern England should clear through the morning. Becoming increasingly drier and brighter from the northwest through the morning too.

Showers tending to ease for many areas into Sunday afternoon though still possible over parts of England. Heavy rain clears away from southern Scotland but spreads across northern England. Brighter conditions spread further across Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Chilly with highs at just 4 to 9C.

Rain eases over northern England into the evening while parts of the Midlands could see showers spread from the north. Mostly dry elsewhere with the best of the clear skies to the north and west.

Have a good day!

Claire
