Morning Call - February 18, 2020
Breezy, feeling cool
Heavy showers, hail

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 18th February 2020
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Cluster of showers passing east in afternoon

Good morning,

Brisk westerly winds will continue to influence the British Isles, with low pressure to the north, and high pressure south today.

It's a showery day in the west and north, with frequent hail for western Scotland, and snow over the mountains.

Showers will become more organised across Wales and western England through the middle of the day, passing further east across the Midlands and Home Counties into the evening time with some lively bursts of rain, hail and local thunder. Eastern counties escape dry much of daylight.

Today's top temperatures will reach 6 to 10C, but feeling chillier in the brisk wind.

Have a great day.
Garry
