The day starts fairly dry and bright for most areas with a few showers in far southeast. Through the morning and the afternoon showers may develop more widely over western England and Wales. Ireland and Scotland remaining mostly dry with long sunny spells. Tops of 16C in north and 22C in south.

Most showers will clear through the evening and become confined along the south coast, with a dry night to follow elsewhere. Breezy. Minimum temperatures at 12C in north and 15C in south.
