Showers and rain in central Europe, thundery in Greece and Turkey


Tuesday
A few showers for northwest Spain and northern Portugal on Tuesday but dry and bright for the rest of Iberia. Dry and bright too for the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. Thundery showers, some of them heavy, affecting the southern Balkans, much of Greece and spreading into western Turkey later. A dry and sunny day for most of Turkey.
A breezy, showery day for France with some heavier bursts to the north. Heavy showers spreading from the west into the Low Countries later. Showers clear from eastern Germany through the morning before another band of showery rain moves across Switzerland and into western Germany later. Mostly dry for Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia with varying amounts of cloud.
A cloudy day for Denmark with showers spreading to the east. These showers reaching southwestern Sweden later. Elsewhere across Sweden and Norway it's a dry day with spells of sunshine. Mostly dry and fair too for Finland and the Baltic States though a few showers could develop for Estonia and southern Finland later.


Wednesday
Fair for Wednesday over Spain and Portugal. More sunshine in Corsica and Sardinia. Central and northern Italy will have showers and rain. Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunny spells.
Breezy through France with rain in central and eastern areas. Brighter in southern France with some sunny spells. Brighter and breezy in northwest France. Rain in the Low Countries. Showers for Germany and Poland, these heavy in places. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will have thundery showers.
Scattered showers and broken cloud in Denmark. Fair with plenty of sunshine for the Baltic States and Finland. More sunshine in much of Sweden although some showers affect the south. Fine for Norway, sunny for most.
