Heavy thunderstorms in central Europe, better west and east
bringing plenty of fair weather. Hot for southern Spain and Portugal, topping 35C. Fresher for the north coast of Spain, 20 to 23C. Pleasantly warm with lots of sunshine for France 23 to 26C, up to 29C on the Mediterranean coast. Fresh with sunshine and scattered showers for the Low Countries and Germany.
Windy for northern Germany and Denmark, with some persistent rain for southern Scandinavia as low pressure drifts eastwards. Largely dry for Norway and much of Sweden. Wet for the Baltic states and some thunderstorms for Poland and Slovakia as a cold front moves through.
Unsettled for the north of Italy, with a trough of low pressure proudcing thundery downpours, which also affect Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. Hot and humid for southern Italy and the Balkans, 33 to 36C. Eastern Europe toward the Black Sea, plus Greece will stay hot and sunny, around 30C.
Isolated thundery showers in eastern arts of Spain today. Fair and sunny as well as dry in the rest of Sain and Portugal. More sunshine and fine weather in the Balearics although some thunderstorms over Sardinia and Corsica. Heavier thunderstorms in central and southern Italy but fair and sunny to the north. Greece should be mainly dry apart from some hill showers. Fine in Turkey with more sunshine.
Fine and hot across France with lots of sunshine here. More sunshine in the Low Countries and Germany with warm temperatures. Poland will see a few showers in the east although western area should be dry. Further showers, some heavy in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Denmark will be mostly fair with hazy sunshine. Scattered showers in the Baltic States although cool here. Scattered showers too in Finland with dry and sunny weather in Sweden. Scattered showers in western Norway.
