Broken cloud, dry
Drizzle western coasts

Tuesday
A dry day ahead over most of the UK and Ireland. Some low cloud may affect southern and western parts, bringing drizzle at times. Sunny spells for other areas with the cloud being broken through inland and eastern areas. Western Scotland and western Wales will always have thicker cloud, the risk of some spots of drizzle here. Highs at 18C in southeast England, 14C in the sunshine in Ireland, 10C in the far north of Scotland.


Tuesday Night
Broken cloud and some clear spells tonight. Most areas are likely to be dry. There will be some thicker cloud in northern and western Scotland with rain here becoming more persistent as the night progresses. A few spots of rain in the far north and west of Ireland. Lows around 2C under clearer skies in southern Scotland and Wales, 10C in southeast England, around 5C for most.


Wednesday
High pressure remains over much of England, Wales and Ireland on Wednesday. It should be mostly dry with sunny spells in most areas, just a low risk of a shower here and there in the afternoon. Fronts in northern England and Northern Ireland as well as central and southern Scotland bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. More persistent rain in northwest Scotland at first, but becoming brighter and drier here later. Highs at 22C in the sunshine in southeast England, 17 to 19C for many, but much cooler in northern Scotland 9C.


Thursday
A weak warm front edges northwards through Thursday. This brings increasing amounts of cloud, especially over western and southern areas, where there is a chance of drizzle around coasts and hills. The risk of drizzle in these areas increases during the day. A fair amount of cloud for many areas. Some watery sunshine in the north and east, with highs at 18C in southern England, 9C in northeast Scotland.
