Tuesday Night
Heavy showers affecting much of central and southern England tonight as well as Wales. More persistent rain in central and southern Scotland, some of this heavy at first but easing as the night wears on. Showers may merge to longer spells of rain with a risk of thunder in the south later. Lows at 9 to 12C.

Low pressure brings showery rain to much of southern England and Wales on Wednesday morning, this tending to ease during the day. Further rain affecting central parts of Scotland. Generally turning drier and brighter in the afternoon although still some showers in the east. Thicker cloud, stronger winds and rain into Ireland and southwest England later. Highs at 15 to 19C.

Low pressure pushes fronts and rain eastwards overnight, this clearing eastern England on Thursday morning. Following will be breezy conditions with a mix of sunshine and showers. The showers heavy at times over western coasts and hills. Increasingly windy in the west too. Highs at 14 to 19C.
