Windy and cold, outbreaks of rain mainly affecting eastern areas
It's another cold and breezy day across all parts of the UK and Ireland. There will be some outbreaks of rain, most in the east of England and Scotland, but some pushing west and affecting other areas too.
Feeling cold in the wind this afternoon,e specially in the east. The best of any brightness is likely to be through western Scotland and western parts of Ireland, perhaps in parts of Cornwall and west Wales too.
The winds ease in England, Wales and Ireland tonight as more persistent rain affects northern England, Northern Ireland ans southern Scotland. Drier in central and southern areas as well as western Scotland.
