Rain in Scotland and northern parts of Ireland, fair to the south
You will be in need of an umbrella if you are in Scotland or the north and west of Ireland today. Fronts are bringing periods of rain, most affecting the hills of western Scotland with the rain elsewhere on the lighter, patchier side. Eastern areas of Scotland could be staying dry throughout the day. Cloud increasing in northern England and southern Ireland, although there will be some hazy spells of sunshine too. Northeast England is likely to be brighter with sunny spells and should be dry.
Elsewhere it will be dry with some sunshine, the best of this in southern England. Always more cloud affecting western coasts and hills. Feeing warm for all.
