Summery to begin the week
The weather for the first part of the upcoming week is looking quite summery with a good deal of dry weather and temperatures well above normal Details from Wednesday becomes lower but a gradual trend to more mixed weather is indicated. Temperatures then drop closer to normal levels.

Tuesday 29/08/17 Cooler in the north but temperatures stay well above normal in the south of England. More cloudy across central and parts of southern England. Mainly dry here with just the odd spot of rain. Showers to affect Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland. Fair and dry elsewhere with sunny spells. Expect highs of 15 to 27C.
Wednesday 30/08/17 Very warm across England and Wales, hot in the south - chilly in the north. Outbreaks of rain to affect northern areas. There is a risk of rain and showers in the south east in the afternoon and evening (low confidence.) Expect highs of 13 to 29C.
Thursday 31/08/17 Thursday temperatures drop closer to normal. Expect scattered showers with good, dry, sunnier spells. Most places are dry by the evening. It continued dry through the night with a risk of fog patches. Look for highs of 17 to 22C.
Friday 01/09/17 Expect a good deal of cloud and a few scattered showers. Sunniest in the far south. Any showers soon fade by evening then dry overnight with clear spells. Temperatures a bit above around normal. Expect highs of 17 to 22C.
Saturday 02/09/17 We may see rain or showers for Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. Fine, dry and mostly sunny across England and Wales. Expect highs of 15 to 22C.
Sunday 02/09/17 It looks rather unsettled, breezy ad damp across Britain with spells of rain, some of it locally heavy. This tends to clear the west leaving a few showers. Look for highs of 14 to 20C.
