Sunday
Increasingly windy today across England and Wales as an area of low pressure moves in from the west. Some early sunshine to come this morning but cloud in the north and west spreads to all areas this morning. Outbreaks of rain through the Irish Sea are expected to spread in across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and south west Scotland. In the afternoon splashes of rain will affect central and southern parts of England along with Wales. Apart from a few showers across the Scottish Hills, to the north it will be mainly dry. Expect maximums of 9 to 14 Celsius.

Sunday Night
It becomes less windy across Britain this evening. Through the evening and night there is a risk of showers across parts of Scotland, Wales and central and southern parts of England. Fair and dry across most other areas with a good deal of cloud across the country. It will become cold where cloud breaks occur. Expect minimum temperatures of 1 to 6 Celsius.

Monday
A chilly day to come across the country with a brisk north to north east developing. A mostly cloudy, unsettled day with showers developing through the day. In the afternoon these may turn more frequent and heavy. For Northern Ireland it will be a dry day with sunnier spells. Through the evening we'll see the showers dying out and the cloud will clear. With clear skies and lighter winds overnight, it will turn quite cold with a widespread frost expected along with some mist and fog patches. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.

Tuesday
A cold, frosty start to the day with mist and fog soon clearing. Scattered showers are expected across eastern parts of England a a cold north east wind prevailing. Western parts of the country will be fair and dry with the best of the sunshine. A cloudy night across Northern Ireland and Scotland with outbreaks of light rain. A cold, clear night for England and Wales with a widespread and sharp frost. Turning misty as well by morning. Temperatures will be below normal with tops of 8 to 11 Celsius.
