A breezy day across northern Scotland today as a weather front brings in spells of rain and drizzle. Most of the rain will be in the west. This rain tends to clear in the afternoon. A lot of cloud to come across southern Scotland and Northern Ireland but a dry day is likely. Across England and Wales it will be a hot, summer's day with sunny skies. Sea breezes will develop in the afternoon making it feel a bit cooler around the coasts. Expect maximums of 19 to 24 Celsius in the north and 25 t 31 Celsius in the south.
Through the course of the course of the evening and night some mainly light rain and drizzle will be found across the Western Isles. A fine dry evening to come across England and Wales with lots of sunshine to end the day. It continues dry in the night with clear spells. A very warm and humid night in the south.
