Morning Call - September 15, 2016
Warm again
Thunder later

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 15th September 2016
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Misty start, very warm again, drizzle in the west but thundery south later

Good morning,

It wil be another very warm day across many areas with the highest temperatures to be found in the east of England. It will be warm elsewhere too, although tending to turn fresher across western Ireland and western Scotland during the day.

Some morning mist and fog patches in more rural areas but these clearing quickly. Then mostly fair with sunny spells, the best of them in the south. Low cloud and drizzle affecting northeast England, although this burning back to the coast as the morning progresses. Further drizzle in western Scotland and Ireland, this turning more persistent in western Scotland this afternoon.

The heat may trigger some thundery showers over the far south of England late this afternoon and into the evening, these then spreading north. Dry elsewhere with sunny spells.
