Morning Call - February 20, 2017
Mild and windy
Some rain in north and west

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 20 February 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

The mild weather we had over the weekend is going to continue as we move into the new week. Overall it's going to be rather cloudy today with Patchy drizzly rain in the west and heavier rain for north west Scotland. This weakens as it moves into northern England in the afternoon. Patchy rain to also affect Wales with central and southern England dry. Expect highs of 10 to 15 Celsius north to south which is twice as warm as it should be for the latter part of February.

This evening another spell of rain comes in across the south west and Wales which then spills in across southern England. A few showers to come tonight across north western parts of Scotland. Dry for most other areas. Quite windy tonight. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 6 Celsius but a milder 8 to 10 Celsius in the south.

If you are heading abroad over the next couple of days the weather is looking rather unsettled and wet across Europe.
